Kiln building in Taku, 2010 I am proud to announce 'workshop in taku 2010', featuring special guest artist Craig Edwards. Craig will be designing and supervising the construction of a two chamber anagama/noborigama with some modern features, including floor and shell insulation as well as some options for smoke reduction. This workshop is for anyone interested in building a woodkiln, and wants to learn how with a hands on approach. We want this to be a workshop where you learn everything the books leave out. The workshop will be held October 15th - October 22th, 2010 in Taku, Japan. Taku is located in central Saga prefecture, just a stones throw from the pottery centers of Karatsu, Arita, and Imari.
